We respect your privacy. This page describes what data TradeTengo collects, how we use it, and how to reach us.
1. Who we are
TradeTengo ("we," "us," or "our") provides international mailbox and freight-forwarding services from Miami, Florida, to Colombia, Peru, and related destinations. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information when you use tradetengo.com, our web dashboard, and the TradeTengo mobile app (iOS and Android).

2. Information we collect
We collect information you provide and data generated when you use our services:
- Account data: name, email address, phone number (including WhatsApp), password (stored in hashed form), country, and mailbox or customer identifiers.
- Shipment and package data: tracking numbers, carrier guides, weights, declared values, package descriptions, warehouse status, photos of shipping labels, and barcode scans captured during intake.
- Communications: messages you send to support, referral activity, and notification preferences.
- Mobile app data: device push notification tokens (via Expo) so we can alert you when a package is registered in Miami; camera images when you or our staff scan barcodes or photograph labels (with your permission).
- Technical data: IP address, browser or app type, timestamps, and basic logs needed to operate and secure the service.
3. How we use your information
- Create and manage your account and mailbox.
- Receive, register, and forward packages; provide quotes and tracking updates.
- Send email, push, and WhatsApp notifications about packages, guides, and account activity.
- Operate warehouse tools for authorized staff (scanning, bulk intake, reports).
- Provide customer support and improve our services.
- Comply with law, prevent fraud, and protect the security of our users and systems.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only as needed to run our business:
- Logistics partners and carriers (for example Planet Express, DHL, UPS, and regional carriers) to move and track shipments.
- Service providers that host our application, send email (such as Resend), deliver push notifications (Expo), and process payments if you use paid features.
- Authorities when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and property.
- With your direction, such as when you share a tracking link or referral code.
5. Data retention
We keep account and shipment records while your account is active and as needed for logistics, billing, tax, and legal obligations. You may request deletion of your account subject to records we must retain for compliance or active shipments.
6. Security
We use industry-standard measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and access controls for staff tools. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; please use a strong, unique password and protect your login credentials.
7. Your choices and rights
- Access and update profile information in the web dashboard or mobile app where available.
- Enable or disable push notifications in the app or your device settings.
- Grant or revoke camera access in your device settings (required only for barcode scan and label capture features).
- Request access, correction, or deletion by emailing miami@tradetengo.com. We will respond within a reasonable time and as required by applicable law.
8. International transfers
TradeTengo is based in the United States. Your information may be processed in the U.S. and in countries where our partners operate. By using our services, you understand that your data may cross borders with appropriate safeguards for service delivery.
9. Children
Our services are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Contact us if you believe a child has provided data and we will delete it.
10. Third-party links
Our site and app may link to carrier tracking pages or other third-party sites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this one.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page with a new "Effective date." Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
